Scenes from “Community Partnership Rally & Camp Out” (July 2012)

The final picket of the month of July 2012. This picket was clearly the most interesting of all the pickets. For some strange reason the in ground water sprinklers popped out, and were activated only at the section of public property that we stood on. Another strange and odd thing that we noticed was that is was about to rain that day (and it did rain for much of the day), so the need to water the grass only where we were standing was puzzling indeed.

Members of the National Fuel Accountability Coalition (NFAC) participated in the final picket aimed at National Fuel Gas (NFG), on Thursday, July 26. Throughout the month of July the NFAC visited NFG headquarters one day each week, with hopes of finally getting a meeting with National Fuel CEO David Smith.

For years, members of the community-based coalition have been trying to meet with Smith to discuss ways National Fuel can help solve issues surrounding energy efficiency and low-income weatherization programs.
